Need I say more? But, I will. If a girl could have only one pair of shoes, it should be blush colored pumps, preferably 4 inch heels with a slight platform…..this of course is what I believe with all my heart- you can decided on your own must-have shoes.
These are my steve maddens. See www.stevemadden.com to see their fine selection and choose for yourself!

Coleson and I visited The Bridge for a bit today. These kiddos are just fantastic. I love the look of this sweet little church and they were getting ready to remove the pews, so I wanted to capture the kiddies on the pews before they went away.
The subjects were happy to participate! We had a blast.

and this little one was just precious!

When I am working on my laptop at my huge project table- this is the site that I see across from me….a double set of the most beautiful eyes ever…..working on their laptop, of course. =) I’m so lucky!

Ok….so I am cheating today. Crazy busy day- no time for real image “from” today. So I did take this image one day…..that one day just wasn’t today.
Back on track tomorrow! It is wedding dress shopping day for Heidi, my brother’s fiance, so surely I will have some fantastic images of that!

I had the privilege of shooting a very special client of mine at her house before she went to her 8th grade dance. Guess what was on the counter when I arrived……a platter filled with gourmet cupcakes from Gorgetown Cupcakes!! Ya know…the show on TLC- DC Cupcakes!? Yes, this teen’s mother ordered cupcakes from DC Cupcakes and had them sent on dry ice so that her and all her friends could snack on these before they went to the big dance. HOW fun is that. Where is this image taken, you ask? Well…in my car on my dashboard, of course. I’m sorry…you didn’t think that I would leave without one did you?! Here is the DC Cupcakes Site

I love walking into my house when a cozy inviting smell greets me. Unless someone breaks in and bakes some cookies while I am slaving away behind the camera, the only other way that this will happen is if my Scentsy Warmer has been on. This is one of my favorite things. I have had an extremely long search for an air freshener that lasts for more then a few hours. The most fantastic thing about Scentsy is that the smell lasts FOREVER and you can change them in and out as much as you like. FYI- one of my favorite scents is MY DEAR WATSON- I say it smells like a good-looking man. Sometimes I would rather be greeting with a good looking man smell then that of sugar cookies.
To get your own Scentsy warmer- you can contact Doris at 573.275.5094. Also check out their website at https://getascent.scentsy.us/Home.
I am a multi-tasker. At all times, I have at least three or four books that I am “reading”….all at once. I notice this pile on my counter and thought it the perfect example of my multi-tasking nature.

Quoted from Sarah-
The installment for this week’s “What to Wear” is for all those Gals out there who are wondering what the heck to wear to all their spring/summer gatherings – and of course their Bella Bambino photo shoots! These looks are for seniors, mom’s, gal’s getting engagement pics, and for all those women who love a Bella Bambino Sassy Shoot. These looks also easily translate into Easter attire.
The inspiration of this fashion story board is easy to see – SPRING IS HERE! Easter, sunshine, days by the pool, bronzed skin, and sundresses are finally back – and here are a few tips to looking fab in these looks….for a photoshoot, church, wedding, or BBQ.
1. All the dresses I have pulled here are SUPER flattering. Notice all the belting and waist lines on these adorable dresses.
2. If you are unsure about a dress when trying on …..BELT IT. Skinny, wide, neutral, printed, or colorful…..Just try it. It will be your new fashion weapon.
3. Mix it up! Put on a floral feminine frock and layer it with a stripe cardigan, an animal print, a motorcycle style, an army surplus look….all you need to do is check the proportions. If one cardigan or jacket doesn’t look right- try a different length. For a maxi or empire waist dress you want a short jacket or cardi – do a flowy dress with a boyfriend cardigan and belt over both! Oh, and how fabulous would that gray leopard print dress be with that turquoise trench….ahhh, I love Spring! You also could just wear that turquoise trench as a dress!
4. Experiment! Play with it! You probably have these pieces in your own closet, just set aside a little time to play dress up in your own clothes.
5. Don’t forget the accessories. Do a necklace and bracelet combo or an earring and statement ring together. Just don’t do them all at once.
6. If you haven’t already purchased a neutral pump……go now. The two pairs featured here are under $30. So now you have no excuse.
7. The BEST thing about all these items I have featured…….you can get them all in Cape Girardeau and they are all under $100. Affordable and Accessible.
