I have been waiting for another reason to have people over to the studio for cotton candy cosmos, wine and snacks…..here is our chance! On JUNE the 12th at7pm, BELLA BAMBINO PHOTOGRAPHY will be hosting a LAUNCH PARTY for the NEW BELLA BAMBINO WEBSITE!! As many of you know, I love and crave change. My current site has been up for almost a year….and it is TIME FOR A CHANGE! The new website, which is currently under construction, is going to KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!!!!! Please join us for some fabulous beverages and treats as well as AMAZING DEALS and GIVEAWAYS [of course]! Promptly at 7:30, the website will be unveiled on my big screen for all past clients to see if their kiddos made the new site [which, I promise, MANY of them did] and for new clients to get a good look at my current portfolio! This will be the FIRST time that anyone sees the new site, so it is the official WEBSITE PREMERE! Like during the open house extravaganza, if you bring a friend that has never had a Bella Bambino Session, you will pull a prize from the fish bowl! I have been shooting seniors for some time now and have decided over the past year to create a separate brand for seniors. The style in which I shoot seniors is edgy, high-fashion and unique. My signature is to intertwine the beauty of the senior with the unique characteristics of the environment. The product of the shoot is fine-art with an urban, contemporary flare! I am officially unveiling the BELLA COUTURE [seniors] brand with a bang!! Join me at the BELLA BAMBINO LOFT STUDIO at the LAUCH PARTY! The open house extravaganza was held on Saturday, January 17th. We [the bella bambino team] were dressed in our Bella Bambino t-shirts with “TEAM BELLA” printed on the back. Before the doors opened at 6pm the jobs were set, I was maning the foyer table where everyone put their name in for a drawing for a 16×20 and had everyone sign in. Sarah was in charge of buzzing clients in and taking their coats to the playroom closet! After clients met with me to get the lowdown, they were ushered over to Stepanie the “bartender” who offered a variety of wines or BELLA BAMBINO’s signature drink….the COTTON CANDY COSMO! Then clients were coaxed into enjoying the abudance of treats available that ranged from cheesecake chimmychongas to fresh fruit and marshmellow dip all catered by CUP N’ CORK! Clients then perused the new studio and watched the slideshows playing on the big screen and sat down with one of the many bella bambino albums floating around. Heather hunted down any past client and had them draw a prize from the fishbowl for each “new” friend she brought with her. One client- Miss Lisa- brought 9 friends!!!!! She earned 9 amazing prizes! Heather also informed the past client about the “BELLA BAMBINO PHOTO CONTEST”. The past client was handed an SLR camera, told how to use it [in auto mode, of course =)] and told to photograph the people she invited. They could get as creative as they liked! AND….OH…..they listened!!! We had some crazy images!! The winner of the contest as well as the “honorable mentions” are posted below! The winner will receive an 11×14!
Now that I mapped out exactly how the night was run…..I must say that I was absolutely AMAZED at the turnout!!!! I turned around numerous times during the party and couldn’t believe how PACKED it was!! By the end of the night, we were out of wine, out of cosmos……and almost out of cheesecake chimmychongas! WE BOOKED 20 SHOOTS!! I cannot thank my clients enough for making the party such a success! It was an absolute blast! Below are a few party images, as well as the photo contest winner and runner ups!

I am so excited to announce the new [Bella Bambino Gives Back] program! My sunday morning coffee this morning is going to focus on defining this program and its purpose. I feel so blessed and fortunate to be able to do what I absolutely love everyday as a career- that I want to give back. I have always had a special place in my heart for volunteering and helping others. I thought that it would be an amazing idea to combine my passion for photography with my passion for helping others. I have done numerous pro-bono shoots in the past, but I wanted to create a program that actually offered pro-bono shoots on a regular basis.
Through [Bella Bambino Gives Back] I will take on one pro-bono shoot a month. I will be taking request through my site from either individuals themselves or friends and family of individuals who are candidates for the [Bella Bambino Gives Back] program. Candidates could be individuals of any age who would benefit from having fine-art images free of charge. For example, deserving individuals who normally would not be able to afford my services or individuals who are sick or disabled. I am also a member of NILMDTS ( now i lay me down to sleep ) which is an organization that offers infant bereavement photography. Feel free to check out their site www.nilmdts.com. Part of the [Bella Bambino Gives Back] program will offer bereavement photography to people who would like to capture memories of someone who has a terminal illness as well as infant bereavement.

I would like to intoduce [with child] my new high-fashion maternity series. Gone are the days of white button up shirts and jeans holding one’s belly and looking straight into a camera with a backdrop behind. This series features women- at one of the most beautiful and fleating times of their lives- in a high-fashion, editorial style. Some shots are still whimsical and classic…..with a Bella Bambino twist of course!! The model featured here is Erica- one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies that I have ever seen in real life! She is in town for a week from California- and I am extatic to have had the chance to capture her while she was here! THANK YOU ERICA for helping me to allow my visions to be created for this series! I have been waiting for our new logo to be created to introduce our new branch…..Bella Pet Fur.tography!!!!! This branch will be handled by my very own sis- who has been training with me for some time now behind the camera. She has been an animal lover since birth and her interest in photography and animals combine gave us the idea for this branch! I also constantly receive calls from clients begging for me to photograph their animals. I unfortunatly have always had to decline due to my demanding schedule! Angi has been trained to capture pets in the style that I capture children. The shoots will produce contemporary fine-art of your pets! Angi will shoot on-location…..at your home or at your favorite park or farm….or any other creative location you can dream up!
