This gorgeous baby girl first visited Bella Bambino when she was just one year old. She was model perfection then and once again, at age three- my expectations were surpassed! I took my scarf off and wrapped her up in it for this shot and used a new texture that I am in love with to create this effect. What a fantastic day!

For those who know our family, you understand that this homecoming is an enourmous deal. Sweet baby Mario [my new nephew] had a really rough start in life and had to spend 2 weeks in the NICU. Through all of the prayers that precious baby has made a speedy recovery and was able to go home with my sister Angi today. Mario’s real Bella Bambino experience will take place on Friday, but I had to capture just a few images on his first day home. ENJOY and thanks to everyone who had Mario in their prayers!

Bella Bambino’s Halloween Costume Party was held last Sunday. A room filled with mini monsters, fairy princesses and cowboys shooting indians is always a good time! Here are a few of the images from the party. ENJOY! Parents, call the studio if you would like to order any of the images that you see or to get the password to see ALL of the images on the proofing portion of my site. 573.651.4408

Sometimes….even though I have 800 other shoots to edit first, when I upload images from the day, I can’t help but to edit just one! I couldn’t pass this one up. ENJOY!! I can’t wait to edit the rest of this shoot!!

I had quite a long newborn shoot with a fabulous client whom I have worked with before. It was well worth the wait! Beautiful Mr. Chase was so “bend-able” and “fold-able”. This is why it is SO important to get those babies to me before they are 2 weeks old! I uploaded these from today before I left the studio and I could NOT help but to edit- just this one! ENJOY the peak!

This is just a quick sneak peak for some fabulous clients for their anniversary! Have a great one!!

Tonight….yup….TONIGHT, I shot this amazingly beautiful couple’s engagement shoot. We finished shooting when the sun went down and I have been editing like a maniac ever since! Being such an inspired and exciting shoot, I was well aware that I would not be able to sleep until I finished editing these. I went to Ty’s parents’ farm for the shoot. I knew that it was going to be unique because Sarah is severe fashionista and Ty is a rodeo cowboy [seriously]. I requested a horse and a barn and then I discovered a few other treasures on their property….such as an abandoned school bus and a unique body of water with an underwater patio. This is one of my favorite shoots to date and I am so excited to share it! ENJOY!!!

Ok- so, by now, everyone probably realizes that when I shoot, I certainly make clients…especially seniors, step outside of the box…..sometimes that means laying on your back in a pile of garbage….or laying on your stomach in a dirty broken down building in a white dress….or just taking your beautiful curly locks and frizzing them out like crazy…..ALL three of these things were experienced by the amazing senior that I shot today! I am so excited about her shoot, it is unreal! Some people the camera just loves…what can I say! Here is a sneak peak- I couldn’t resist! I will feature her whole session after she sees them!!

I have worked with these clients numerous times before…so….we have bonded. Needless to say, when I showed up at their home today (mom had a c-section and couldn’t walk up my loft stairs), I had some ideas! Since I felt like I could experiment with their new little guy, Jake (6 days old), we went out on a limb and tried some different things! I loved every minute of this shoot. Sometimes a shoot turns out exactly as we plan…..this is one of those shoots! ENJOY…..ps- this is why I like shooting babies under 14 days old…..they stay asleep through it all!!!

I shot this little girl when I shot the promo for the FC Sikeston Web site. As soon as I saw here hair- I had a vision….. We scheduled a full shoot for just her a few weeks later. This little girl is an amazing athlete and not only participates in “girl” friendly sports, like soccer and track, she also excels in sports that have been deemed “boy” sports, such as football and wrestling!! MY KIND OF GIRL! Beyond her many talents on the field and on the mats…..she also clearly has a talent in front of the camera. It was bitterly cold outside, but between her her bravery and my frozen fingers…..we made it happen! Here are a few sneak peaks from her shoot. ENJOY!
