Due to my slight blog neglect I am giving a little sample from my recent sessions!
Just a little peek of the glorious wedding that I shot a few weeks ago in St. Louis.
So, my sister calls me and says….”Bring your camera to Sunday Fun-day.” I say, “Why?” She says “Because I am tired of looking at the same headshot that you have used on facebook for the last 3 years.” I can always count on my sister to give it to me straight. 
So- after our ravioli dinner at our parent’s house, we went out to the woods and fought off the mosquitos and 105 degree weather to get this one shot right before the sun set.
I cannot believe my baby girl turned 6 today. Although- she most often acts and speaks like she is in her mid-twenties….! It really is just unbelievable how time flies! Enjoy the images of her complete sassiness. PS- I did not direct this shoot at all. Little SASS did it all on her own!

This little guy’s dad is a firefighter. This was a tough shot to get- but it was worth it!
So- this shoot was a comedy. I stole them from their engagement party for 10 minutes and made them hike across the highway with me to this field that I spied on my way into my parent’s development. Can you say chiggers?! It is always a funny experience when you combine two Grippos and a bunch a chiggers. Enjoy these few captures! Ps- we pretty much hand-picked Heidi for Michael, so we couldn’t be any more excited about April 14th. =)
I have pulled my conceptual shoot “This Ain’t No Fairy” down. It came to my attention after posting- from numerous other photographers- that there was an amazingly talented photographer who had already done a series much like this. After looking at the link these photogs provided, they were absolutely right! I feel VERY VERY strongly about copying other artists as an artist- and although I DID NOT see this conceptual series prior to doing my shoot- it certainly looked similar. SO- out of respect for this amazing photographer, who – quite frankly- is TRULY a conceptual photographer- I decided to remove if from my portfolio to avoid any controversy. ! Have a great night all- and be safe among these yucky storms. Praying for those in Joplin, MO tonight.
