I have pulled my conceptual shoot “This Ain’t No Fairy” down. It came to my attention after posting- from numerous other photographers- that there was an amazingly talented photographer who had already done a series much like this. After looking at the link these photogs provided, they were absolutely right! I feel VERY VERY strongly about copying other artists as an artist- and although I DID NOT see this conceptual series prior to doing my shoot- it certainly looked similar. SO- out of respect for this amazing photographer, who – quite frankly- is TRULY a conceptual photographer- I decided to remove if from my portfolio to avoid any controversy.
