I cannot say enough about the wedding that I shot on November 29th. I have never witnessed a ceremony and day so infused with the true personality of the couple. I started my day with the bride, her crazy (in a good way) mom and bridesmaids at her mother’s farm house. Our day began at 9am and ended at 10pm! The fun that began as I stepped foot into that home was unbelievable! Mimosas spead like wildfire as the girls were primping and getting their hair done. After everyone was ready to roll, I met the boys at the church…….talk about the second batch of crazy fun! When the ceremony began, the love and emotion between this couple was undeniable. Their goofiness re-surfaced as they ran down the isle as husband and wife to the Shrek theme song. For transportation to the farm for the bride/groom feature, there were NO limos for this party…..that isn’t their style. Instead, a huge white van with comical phrases written all over it was their chariot! At the farm…..cowboy boots were on and old antique tractors were ridden…..no typical posing for these two! The reception was wild and emotional all wrapped in one. The speeches were heartfelt and funny, the food was amazing and laid back and the bride and groom first dance was to “CHICKEN FRIES”! A highlight of the reception was when the groom came out to get the bride’s garter belt……you will see what I mean below! I just want to say thank you to this family for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing day that was so truly unique to who they are. ENJOY!!!
