For the first time EVER- I am offering holiday mini session!!! You can only do a holiday mini session if you are a past client of mine at my Missouri location. These minis will be quick – 10 to 15 minute shoots- with one goal in mind- To capture a FABULOUS image for your holiday greeting cards and few gift prints to give to Grandma/Grandpa etc! As all past clients know, I am NOT a propsy photographer- so there will be no backdrop with a tree on it! However, I will have some fun santa hats and some strings of Christmas lights etc. We will shoot in the alleyway and in the studio. One outfit- and kiddos only! The date will be Saturday, November 8th from 9am until 12pm. I will have LIMITED slots available- so call to book ASAP! The deadline to book will be October 15th. Check the details below! This is for this sweet baby’s mother- who I KNOW is a faithful blog reader!!! I knew you would be checking, so I decided to give you just one little sneak peak!! This baby girl has the spunkiest spirit! She was an absolute joy to photograph and I am so happy that I actually was able to spend a portion of her first birthday with her! We got pretty messy with a cake- and I will post WAY more after her parents see them! ENJOY!
I was asked to teach a class at the local college- It is just a two day class about how to take better pictures of your kids. I was so excited that my class was OVER full. My limit was supposed to be 12 and we let 16 in! The first day was held at SEMO University campus and today- the finale was held at my studio today. I taught about the basics- and how to produce fabulous images of your kiddos- so your photo albums and scrapbooks look WAYYYYY better! We covered things like, natural lighting and best times to shoot, composition, we touched on exposure and the importance of shutter speed, ISO and aperture control- how to get your kiddos to look at the camera- or just how to capture them doing what they do! Today was more hands-on in the studio. We practiced applying what we learned and actually had some cute models to practice on. It was a really fun experience!! Here is a shot from the classroom night! I just like saying that I taught college…..even if it was for just 2 days!!! =)
OH MY GOODNESS- I loved this shoot SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much- I cannot even describe it. Sometimes a shoot just captures the exact essence you are hoping to. This session truly showcases both the beauty and spirit of this little boy, as well as the exact style that I attempt to display during every shoot. ENJOY this little URBAN COWBOY!

We were at football practice for Coleson and a storm was coming! Aslyn insisted on pushing her baby carriage on the practice field. I happened to have my camera bag in my car….. this is what I captured! Thought I would share. =) I have been SOOOOOOOOOOOOO crazy busy- sorry for the slow posting the last few days! I will show some recent favorites after my ordering sessions tomorrow night!
I am calling this post a teaser, because this little baby girl’s parents came in to look at my work and book a shoot. I thought this little one was SOOOOO beautiful that I could not keep my camera in my bag! I had to snap a few shots. Needless to say, this image is just from the day when her shoot was booked! I can’t wait to shoot her and her syblings entire shoot!! So, to her parents…..ENJOY THE TEASE!

Prizes will be awarded for each age category. A 16×20 fine-art print will be awarded to each winner as well as winning 3 waived session fees to be used at any time in the future! The winners will have the honor of being the FACES OF BELLA BAMBINO. These children will be featured first on his or her respective portfolio as well as featured on my homepage slideshow.
[CONTEST DATES]
You must schedule your child’s session between October 1st and November 15th to be eligable. Your session will be a full shoot that will last between 1 to 2 hours.
[JUDGING]
Children will be judged on how photogenic they are. The basis of this is a child’s beauty….or cuteness =) as well as personality portrayed in the image. The judges will be the public. There will be a vote on my blog- in October. The other judges will be a panel of amazing professional child photographers from across the U.S. Half of the score will come from the public, the other half, the photographers.

I would like to intoduce [with child] my new high-fashion maternity series. Gone are the days of white button up shirts and jeans holding one’s belly and looking straight into a camera with a backdrop behind. This series features women- at one of the most beautiful and fleating times of their lives- in a high-fashion, editorial style. Some shots are still whimsical and classic…..with a Bella Bambino twist of course!! The model featured here is Erica- one of the most beautiful pregnant ladies that I have ever seen in real life! She is in town for a week from California- and I am extatic to have had the chance to capture her while she was here! THANK YOU ERICA for helping me to allow my visions to be created for this series!
